Robert Staas

Robert joined NBRS+PARTNERS in 1971 following three years with Hely Bell & Horn. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the NSW Institute of Technology in 1975 and in 1979 recieved a post graduate diploma in Conservation Studies from York University (UK) and in 1987 recieved a Masters Degree in the Built Environment (Conservation) from the University of NSW.

Robert specialises in Heritage Conservation projects which has included Wynyard Park, Capital Square, Grace Bros Broadway and St Marks Church Darling Point. He has carried out the Heritage Strategy for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the Reserve Bank of Australia. He is heritage advisor to various local councils an Expert Witness in the Land and Environment Court. He is a director at NBRS+PARTNERS leading a team of heritage specialists.
